Summer Camp

Day Camp
  • Who Can Come?  Any youth 4-17 years old at the time of camp, regardless of church affiliation, race, and background.  Children must be potty-trained.  There is limited availability, so register early!

  • Camp Arrival and Dismissal:  Sign-in will begin at promptly at 9 am each day and your child will be directed or escorted to the morning opening ceremonies.  All children must be registered and have a waiver signed by a legal guardian to attend.  Participants will need to be picked up no later than 2 pm each day.  We have church service Tuesday-Friday and cannot be late!  All children must be signed out by approved parties to be released.

  • Facilities:  Campers will be split up into 4 age groups: 4-6 year olds, 7-9 year olds,  10-12 year olds, and 13+ year olds.  We will work in these groups during the Bible Lesson, Service Project, Craft Time, and Activity Time.  Otherwise, we will come together in one large group.  Our facilities include a large dining area, a sanctuary, a covered outdoor patio, and a large outdoor area for games.

  • Typical Day at Camp:

    • 9:00  Opening

    • 9:15  Music & Movement

    • 9:45   Bible Lesson

    • 10:45  Snack Time

    • 11:00  Drama

    • 11:30  Service/Craft/Activity

    • 12:30  Lunch

    • 1:00  Service/Craft/Activity

    • 1:50   Closing

  • Meals:  Please have your child eat breakfast before arriving.  We will provide snacks and lunch.  Should your child have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know these upon registering.  Our meals are nutritious, delicious, and snacks even fit our theme to reinforce the message.

  • What to Bring:  Please have your child wear sensible clothes that are both modest and durable.  Children will be playing outsides at times, as well as making crafts, so please be sure they are in clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.  We prefer shoes that they can safely play in, as well.  If your child has a Bible, we encourage campers to bring them!  Please do not have your child bring any other personal items or toys from home.  We do not wish for any items to get lost or broken.  We will have so much fun and be so busy, they aren't even needed.  If your child will need any medication during camp times, please bring along in their prescribed packaging inside a ziplock baggie.  We will ensure our Camp Nurse receives it and administers medication, as needed.

Jaclyn Grant

Camp Director

Jaclyn has a lot of experience in 4 key things: a walk with Christ, children, camp, and directing.  She works tirelessly so you can rest assured your child is having the time of their life at camp and receiving all that God has planned for them!

Lance Wright

Station Leader | Service and Drama

AKA Mr. NFCOG, Lance is a passionate leader and works with the youth at his church.  The kids love and respect him (as do we) and his many contributions are game-changers.

Sarah Brown

Station Leader | Crafts

Sarah, an Elder in the church, is a valuable member of the team, always bringing excellence to any event.  Her ministering and craft skills are on point!

Gail Comer

Group Leader | 3-5 Year Olds

A preschool teacher by day, a preschool leader by camp...Gail is experienced and good at what she does.  Her calm demeanor can settle the rowdiest of kids.

Shoneen Brown

Group Leader | 6-9 Year Olds

A natural and nurturing leader, Shoneen is a perfect camp counselor.  She has the ability to make everyone around her feel loved and special.

Lisa Wright

Group Leader | 10-12 Year Olds

Lisa is a gifted teacher and brings those qualities to our camp each year.  Children are able to grasp the Word as she expounds, explains, and exhorts.

TJ Davenport

Camp Assistant | JCT Trainer

Thomas, or TJ as he is lovingly called, knows a thing or two about fully living for God.  He is an excellent motivator in sports, in life, in Christ.

Robin Jones

Group Leader | 3-5 Year Olds

Robin started out as a camper and has evolved to an amazing counselor.  She has a special gift in teaching.

Audwin Harris

Station Leader | Games & Activities

A camper once himself, Audwin, knows what it takes to reach children of all ages.  He is always respectful, always helpful, always positive...and we always appreciate what he brings to camp as a counselor.

Joshua Nance

JCT (Jr. Counselor in Training)

Joshua is in our JCT program, learning the ropes as it pertains to being a camp leader.  But don't let his age fool you, he's an old soul with great intuition and a lot of promise.
